Spicy Peanut Sauce Recipe
This peanut sauce is so versatile. It's great as a stir fry sauce, or a dipping sauce for crispy tofu or veggie sticks, or drizzle it over salads!
I consume peanut butter daily and running out is considered an emergency. I love it on toast, bagels, porridge and in sandwiches, and seeing it used in savoury recipes too sparked some inspiration for this sauce.
As a nutritionist, I don't just love the taste. Peanut butter offers a plethora of health benefits, including being a rich source of heart-healthy monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, protein, fibre, and essential vitamins and minerals like vitamin E, magnesium, and potassium. When choosing a peanut butter, go for one with as few ingredients as possible, ideally 100% peanuts.

Preparing sauces at home gives full control over the ingredients, so you can customise it to your tastes. Feel free to adapt this, you can add as much or as little chilli sauce as you like and adding water will thin it out if you want to drizzle it (like on this tasty balanced bowl!).
